PRODIGAL

How could I have known;
The angel in your eyes, the devil in your soul,
The hell that lieth beneath the beautiful surface of your skin,
The honey I taste from your lips, the coal of your tongue that melts my heart,
The feel of freedom in your physical touch, the imprisonment of my mind in your arms,
Never asked for your manifestos cos I believed all your propagandas ,
The utopia you promised, the Pandora’s box you unleashed,
The light I saw around you was only a silhouette of the flame behind you,
Thirsty I was to the point of hallucination, wine you gave to intoxicate me,
Yes you freed me,
You pushed me and told me I was flying, I believed cos I never saw the earth, it was a bottomless pit,
You freed me of my conscience and told me you were relieving me of my burdens,
The seven deadly sins were nothing more than a number of unexplored activities for the coward, so you called me brave,
when I was naive.
Laying with the devil isn’t that hard after all, you just have to be dead enough
Should never have left my father’s house…
